Sponsorship

We’re keen to work with local businesses and organisations who wish to support the Lit Fest. We’ve put together a range of sponsorship options for all budgets.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please email sponsorship@whitbylitfest.org.uk with details of your organisation and the package(s) you’d prefer.

All sponsors will be mentioned on our website, including a link to your website where applicable.

Official Programme Adverts

We will be producing a printed programme booklet which will be given to all attendees of the festival. We anticipate printing at least 2,000 copies which will serve as a both a useful document to help visitors make the most of their visit as well as a souvenir of the event.

The programme will include:

  • A welcome message from the organisers
  • A programme of events
  • Information about each venue
  • A map of the town showing various amenities and venue locations
  • Information about authors and their work
  • Information for visitors to help ensure they enjoy their visit to the town

The programme will be A5 in size and include quarter, half and full page adverts as well as a map of town showing the locations of the venues and include up to 10 food & drink businesses across town.

Standard Adverts

The following advertising opportunities are available:

  • Back Page – £450

Artwork should be provided as print-ready PDF or high resolution JPG files. Dimensions as follows:

  • Back Page/Full Page: 148mm x 210mm
  • Half Page: 148mm x 105mm or 74mm x 210mm
  • Quarter Page: 74mm x 105mm

Please add a 3mm bleed and include a 5mm ‘safe zone’ around the edge of your artwork. If you need artwork designing an additional design fee will apply.

Venue Map Adverts – £100 per location

Have your hospitality business displayed on the map, including name, brief description, contact details and location.
Up to 10 spaces available.

Other Sponsorship Opportunities

Volunteer Lanyards & High-Vis Vests – £300

Have your logo printed on all our volunteer lanyards and high-vis vests. These will be worn by volunteer stewards at each of the venues throughout the festival.

Volunteer Food & Drink – from £10

A ‘micro-sponsorship’ option. Support an individual volunteer by sponsoring their food & drink at a cost of £10 or a multiple thereof!

Mailing List Sponsor – £150

Have your name and a link to your website included near the top of every email we send out to promote the festival.

Added Exposure via our Website and Email List

All sponsors and advertisers will also get a free website link from the festival website and mentions across our social media and email list in the run up to the festival weekend.

Please Note

Acceptance of sponsorship is at the discretion of the organising committee. We reserve the right to refuse an advert or sponsorship request if we do not feel it aligns well with the aims and objectives of the festival.

Deadline

The deadline for advertising submissions is Friday 3rd October, in order to give us sufficient time to put the programme together and have it printed and delivered.
