Poetry Open Mic 

Once again, we have an opportunity for locals, upcoming poets, and well-established poets to step up to the mic and take part in a performance at the festival.  On Saturday 21^st November following Bob Beagrie’s epic tale of Eftwyrd: an Anglo-Saxon Rebirth, he will then be stepping into the role of compere at our Open Mic event from 8.30pm at Flowergate Hall.

Last year we had so many slots requested we had to rush towards the end, but Bob will keep things right this year and we have longer.  Plus, we have headline poet Andy Blackford to round off the evening.  Tickets to this event are ‘pay what you want’ and can be booked via the WLF website, as with all others.
